DAY 01:-ARRIVAL SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
On arrival at the Srinagar airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will assist and escort you to your waiting vehicle. From the airport it is a 35 minutes drive through the heart of New Srinagar city. The drive takes you past the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, snaking its way towards the North-Western frontier of Kashmir. DAY 02: -SONAMARG DAY TRIP EXCURSION
Morning after breakfast, check out from houseboat and leave for Sonamarg which means ‘Meadow of Gold’ has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sind meanders along here and abounds with trout and masher, snow trout can be caught in the main river. In late April when Sonamarg is open for road transport, a close by excursion is to Baltal, 15 km north of Sonamarg. This little valley lies at the foot of the Zojila, only a day’s journey away from the sacred cave of Amaranth is a base camp for Amaranath Yatra. Trekkers can also reach the starkly splendid roof-top of the world Leh, by crossing over the Zoji La pass. Enjoy a fun filled Pony ride (on directly payment). Evening return back to Srinagar hotel. SONAMARG:-had historical significance and was a gateway on ancient Silk Road along with Gilgit connecting Kashmir with China and other Gulf countries. The Zojila pass lies 15 kilometers east and is one of the highest passes for road transport. It still is a base camp for Ladakh on NH 1D, and is strategically important.
DAY 03: SRINAGAR TO DOODHPATHRI + SHIKARA RIDE
Doodhpathri or “Valley of Milk”, situated 40 kms from Srinagar is definitely an unexplored place in Kashmir. You should take a little time off to visit this beautiful and enchanting place. You will certainly love the green meadows, pristine environment and serenity. It took us about an hour from Srinagar by cab. A river cascading down the pebbles is a walk of 5 minutes from the parking. You will definitely meet sphered who will be keeping a watchful eye on his flock grazing on the verdant meadows and some cattle and horses. On reaching river, you can soak your feet on the clear and icy water. God, it felt like my feet was frozen and numb for a second. As, the place is quite secluded, there are a few shops which serve hot and mouth watery omelets, Maggie, Kashmiri tea and coffee. DAY04 SRINAGAR PAHALGAM (96 KS-3 HRS)
Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed you for Pahalgam the valley of shepherds by jeep the total distance of 96 kms will be cover in 3 hrs.En- route visit the saffron field of Pampore and also visit the cricket bat factory where one of the best world-famous cricket bats are made of willow tree by hand and enjoy the countryside drive through the pine forest. Horse ride will be given along the pony trails to see magnificent view of the mountains; explore the streets of Pahalgam. Evening return back to your hotel, stay overnight in hotel at Pahalgam.
DAY 05:-PAHALGAM-GULMARG (156 KMS-4 HRS)
Morning after breakfast, proceed you for Gulmarg the valley of Meadows of flowers 156Kms will be cover in 05 hrs. by jeep .Gulmarg has one of the best Ski Slopes in world, and one of the highest golf courses in world with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat and dominates the entire region. The view Enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. The Gondola cable car system and ascend towards the Afarwatt Mountain range. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some horse-riding to the strawberry valley Gulmarg -Gondola ride will be given to the snow Peak, enjoy a cable car up to Alpather via Kangdoori by Asia’s longest run cable car ride (approx. 5 kms). Altitude wise, it is the World’s highest run cable car conquering almost 14000 feet. After an insightful day (On your Own) stay overnight in Gulmarg.
DAY 06: -GULMARG SRINAGAR DEPARTURE
After breakfast, we will drive to the airport for your flight home. On your way to the airport you can make a brief stopover for some last. At the airport the driver will assist you with the luggage and will later drop you at the terminal. Leave Kashmir with Sweet memories.
